Best Movies For Kids: Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I know it’s also for many people. One of the most important parts of Halloween is finding a movie that your kids will enjoy watching. It can be hard to find the right movie for them, but I’ve done some research and found some great options below:
Best Movies For Kids
Happy Deathday is a 2018 American horror slasher directed by Christopher Landon and starring Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Alexandra Shipp, and Krysten Ritter. The film follows a group of high school students stalked by a masked killer on Halloween night.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Nightmare Before Christmas is a 1993 American Christmas musical fantasy film directed by Henry Selick and written by Tim Burton, based on the poem of the same name by Lewis Carroll. It is a stop-motion animated musical comedy-fantasy film about Jack Skellington (voiced by Chris Sarandon), who wishes for a day when everyone can be together at Halloween Town. Still, he only gets seven more days until Christmas Eve arrives. The film follows Jack’s’ attempts to bring holiday cheer and his struggle with growing up and losing his childhood fear of darkness.
Sausage Party is a 2016 American computer-animated horror comedy film produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Point Grey Pictures. It was written by Rogen, Goldberg, and Ariel Shaffir (who wrote for Inside Out), with Peter Baynham directing the film.
The film follows a sausage named Frank who escapes from the grocery store where he’s being made into sausages for sale at Sausage Fest, only to discover that his fellow hotdogs have also escaped from their packaging and now live outside of the store in an alternative universe called “The Outside.” They band together to form a rebellion against humans who have enslaved them for their benefit.
